As you might know we are entering a team in this year’s Bedford Raft race that takes place on the afternoon of 18^th July at the Bedford river festival.

This is the maiden voyage for Advancing People and we are very much looking forward to competing and raising some decent money for a very good cause. 

As well as having a great laugh on the way we are also trying to raise money specifically on behalf of Ridgeway School in Kempston to buy them a much needed mini bus.

Ridgeway is a special school for children with physical disabilities and many of the children have associated learning, communication and medical needs.

The children are aged between 3 and 19 years, they are based locally in Kempston Bedfordshire, we have an ambitious target of £15000 to raise (all the raft teams) and we would all really appreciate your support.
