Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On a cold January day, the 16th in fact, having had my fill of food and wine, it was time to relax with some friends and enjoy intelligent conversation.  Drambuie Coffee?  Seems like a good idea and an obvious winter warmer.  Sally, who is sitting next to me says "I'll try one of those".  The next thing we've agreed to climb Ben Nevis!!!  All for a good cause though, raising funds for the PBC Foundation.   Working with the PBC Foundation and having daily contact with it's members, I realise what a good cause we are representing.  Having already climbed a few Munroes, I was embarrassed that I had never climbed Ben Nevis, and this being my 50th year, it was definitely on my "To do" list.  Finding someone who shared the same desire was a bonus and we are both looking forward to the challenge immensely.  I am sure we will not be alone (I hope) as our respective partners and families will be supporting us in whatever way they can and perhaps some will join us on the climb.  I'm just wondering if my son can become a paramedic within three months, I might need one!

There are three hopes I have for this climb.  Firstly to raise as much as possible for the PBC Foundation.  With your help we can achieve this.  Secondly, I hope that we enjoy a clear day so that we and everyone up there can witness the stunning view from the peak. Thirdly, I hope Sally remembers the Drambuie, I'll bring the coffee!!!!!
