As all members of my household will be key working on Christmas day, to avoid the value microwave ready meal for one sat in front of The Snowman, I have instead decided to attempt a marathon distance run of 26.2 miles, something I haven't done since 2014, in order to raise money for the charity Restore.

Restore aims to de-stigmatise mental illness in society and enable people who have suffered with their mental health to live meaningful lives and get back into employment/volunteering, this being a particularly vulnerable time for all living in isolation, I can't think of a better cause to commit myself to this Christmas day.
