Hi,
thanks for visiting my Justgiving page.
As you know I lost a leg 8 (and some) years ago, but this hasn't stopped me from travelling around the world, visiting amazing places, and (eventually) even learning to ride a bicycle again. Not to mention meeting and marrying my beautiful wife and becoming the very proud father of Matilda!
Well, this is going to be my biggest (physical) challenge ever!
In October of this year, a group of around 20 people, split about 50/50 able bodied and amputees (including myself), are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro - the world's tallest free standing mountain! At nearly 6,000 meters high it's going to be a huge challenge which I very much hope I will be up to meeting.
Of course, this means I will be doing a number of fundraising events during the year, including a cycle ride around the Isle of Wight in May (about 50 miles), and a launch event and Casino - details of which I will update as they become available.
If you have any questions please just send me an e-mail and I will be happy to answer them as best I can (don't ask what made me decide to do it, because I can't really answer that!), but most of all please give generously, all size donations will be greatfully received.
Also remember, if you are a UK tax payer please tick the box relating to tax relief as this will all help reach our fundraising target!
