Story

10th April 2010: Oh my goodness....Marathon in 1 week! What have I let myself in for???? Going for a couple of small runs this week to keep the muscles active and eat lots of pasta. I can't wait to do it and get it done, just hope that the sun stays away for the day!

17th March 2010: Hello peeps! Sorry I have not updated my blog but apart from telling you that I have been running there has been nothing interesting to add.

But there are a few things, so this is for Sal....

Had a cold recently which stalled my running but I am now all fixed and celebrated with a 15 mile run today. Did it in 2hrs 15 so I was quite happy considering I had a stitch (blame the banana!) and my left knee is failing on me.

Glad the run went well as I have had feelings of doubt about how and if I can do it but today gave me the inspiration I needed and I can actually say there is hope....wasn't even tired at the end so whats another 9 miles hey!

Not long to go...17th April is looming. Excited and scared! As long as my knee doesn't give in, I shake the chesty cough, I don't get a stitch and I pace myself then bring it on!!!

Thanks (sal) for your continuing support and donations XXX

23rd Jan 2010:  Training has been good this week. I have done two ten mile runs and a 13 mile run. Made good time with the 13 mile run-1hr 45mins.......would have been even better if I hadn't of tripped over near the end! Bloody elbow and bad back but will be back out there tomorrow.

A big thank you to the new sponsors, we are well on our way to reaching the target. Will be organising a fund raising evening soon where there will be some stunning photos auctioned off.

A update so far....16th Jan

Really thankful to those who have sponsored me, very inspiring and you should take credit for the children's lives you are helping.

Running is going very well. This week I have done one 14mile run and three 9 mile runs! Still alive and feeling very confident if the training continues like this.

Date 14th December 2010: You must think I am mad and at first I thought that too! But after years of dieting I decided to get back into jogging and this has progressed into running the London Marathon..........

Yes there are probably easier ways to lose weight but this is not only rewarding for myself but also for my chosen charity.

Now, this is where I need your help. You don't need to join me for a jog, you just need to sponser me and I will do all the hard work! Any sum will help, I have alot to raise but I know with your help we can do it.

I will keep you updated on my progress and thank you for taking the time to visit my page.....XXXX
