I'm running the Bayer Newbury 10k race on Sunday 24th May to raise money for Mind, a mental health charity that works hard on the bigger picture of mental health. Mind do amazing work providing advice and support to people experiencing a mental health problem and they promote understanding and awareness of it too.

Some of my closest loved ones have struggled with mental health problems and I've seen how much having someone to talk to can really make a difference. I've also struggled with reactive anxiety but have been lucky enough to have amazing support from people around me. Raising money for Mind is something that's really important to me to ensure that other people coping with mental health problems have access to the right support and advice when they need it most.
