We aim to help every child with hemiplegia to reach their full potential

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Not Kilimanjaro or the Three Peaks or the Great Wall of China but a gentle 2.5 mile stretch of the Thames Path starting in Richmond.  Still, no mean feat for a 2 year old with Hemiplegia!

On 18 August my family and I will be taking part in a sponsored walk for HemiHelp – a charity that helps children and young people with Hemiplegia.  Hemiplegia is a form of Cerebral Palsy affecting one side of the body.  My youngest son, Alfie, had a stroke when he was born and has right sided Hemiplegia as a result.

HemiHelp have been of great support to us and we would like to give something back.  We will all be walking a short stretch of the Thames Path on 18th August and need your sponsorship.  Anything you can give will be hugely appreciated.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: HemiHelp will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
