Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
I am running the Great North Run half marathon on Sunday 19th September 2010 in Newcastle for my local hospice, who I do voluntary work for as a weekend shopper.
The Hospice exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases.
There services are provided free of charge to anyone in medical need and they include, Medical, Nursing, Social and Emotional support for Patients and their families.
With being a volunteer at the hospice I see the great work they do for patients and the care they provide to make the patients as comfortable as possible. Running costs are over £6,000 a day and they rely heavily on donations and fundraising.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on all money donated.
However small a gift you can sponser me would mean a great deal to a hospice that gives so much.
Thank You
