Our Group provides general therapeutic riding classes which benefit both adults and children with various disabilities. They can enjoy riding while they improve their muscle strength, balance, motor skills and generally enjoy the outdoors.

Story

Hey, I’m Allie and in September 2018 I was in a non horse related accident and badly broke my right leg. I was in an external fixation for nearly 16 months. My frame was removed in January and I was due a bone graft and a plate put in for March. However due to covid my operation was postponed. I had my operation in July of this year and have been allowed to start weight bearing again since the end of August. I originally wanted to do a sponsored walk but I’m quite far off from that! So I thought of doing something horsey to raise money for the RDA as they are an amazing charity giving people an opportunity to enjoy horse therapy! The RDA is full of amazing people who selfishly donate their time to others and animals on a daily basis. So I came up with the idea to do a walk and trot test at home in the moonboot! It’s also my “show” in over 2 years.

Anything you can donate will be appreciated 💞 Also if people can share this I would also really appreciate that 😊
