Dearest ones, forgive me, but it has been a year since my last fundraising botheration.

I appear to have entered the Great North Run.  This is a VERY LONG WAY - 13.1 miles (and that last 0.1 mile is a killer). And you have to run it.  So that is going to be very hard.

I am doing this for the Bobby Moore Fund which raised money for bowel cancer research in memory of Bobby Moore who died from the disease.  The Fund was set up by Bobby's widow, Stephanie Moore MBE, in partnership with Cancer Research UK.  To date it has raised over £12 millon pounds or cutting edge bowel cancer research, and raising awareness of it's high risk symptoms.  Personally, this is for my lovely grandfather Bill.

So, it would be great if you could sponsor me and do something for a great cause - and the best thing is you won't have to run a step because I will do that for you.  So please dig deep and donate if you feel inclined.  And then buy me lots of cake on September 21st.
