Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am fundraising for LoveOliver, an incredible charity set up by my 2nd cousin and his wife in memory of their son, Oliver.
At just a few days old, Oliver was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Despite continuing to thrive and smile his way through chemotherapy, he passed away peacefully at home on Christmas Day 2010, aged just 24 weeks.
LoveOliver provides practical support to families dealing with a childhood cancer diagnosis, this includes supermarket vouchers, COOK meals and travel expenses to hospital. The charity also funds vital research into childhood cancers - to help find causes, gentler treatments, and ultimately - cures.
In January I set out to cycle 500km in one month, on our indoor cycling bike, to raise money for Love Oliver. I was blown away by the generous donations from friends and family and was delighted to hit my fundraising target. I decided to keep going, to try and cycle for a whole year and I'm now 270km away from hitting 4000km. That's the width of Australia from West to East, an average of 10.96km a day. My legs are tired, but it's all for an amazing cause.
I would be hugely grateful for any donation you are able to give.
