Unfortunately, the majority of us probably know of someone close, or through friends, who are affected by unexpected infant or parent bereavement. I lost my father as a child and more recently two great friends of mine have had the heartbreak of losing their babies. I know that it is a terrible time for all concerned and any assistance that CBC can offer is not only gratefully received but of enormous impact and help. I wish it had been there for me. Sadly, no one knows when they might require help from this dedicated charity.
