This is my first attempt at the Maggie's Monster, and I'm really looking forward to the combined bike and hike event - 73 miles from Ft William to Inverness (30 on the bike, 43 of a hike!).  Hoping to get under 18 hours.

Our team is called or Bust, and is made up of myself and three work colleagues – Graham, Phil and Jonny.  We will be most grateful throughout the day for the support we will receive along the way from Nicola, Graham’s girlfriend Lucy and our good friend Colin from work.  It is a huge boost to reach the checkpoints and see some friendly faces with some soup and pasta ready for us.

The money we raise goes to a great cause and your donations are most welcome.  Don't forget to state whether I should "keep the beard", or "loose the beard" when you donate (guarantee only until Christmas!)
