Alma Mater Education runs Wioso Senior High School in rural Ghana. It is a very disadvantaged farming community where until now very few children gone on to secondary education.

At Alma Mater we cherish all education, but above education for girls. We recently completed a dormitory for 80 girls so that we can cover their pastoral as well as educational needs.

We offer free education, accommodation and food to all local students. For just £30 you can support a student for a whole month.

Our model is different to other schools in that we have established an organic farm adjacent to the school. Not only does this raise money for the school, it also ensures that all pupils get nutritious meals every day.
