We are desperately seeking funds to keep us going through the summer months. We always have vet bills, hay, hard feed, rented grazing and staff costs. Plus we are repairing fences throughout the summer. Even £1 a month makes a huge difference to us!

Story

Since 2013, Woodfield Animal Sanctuary has rescued over 300 ponies who would otherwise not have survived due to their emaciated condition and in some cases serious injury. We also take in orphaned lambs, cats, cows and dogs - in fact any animal who needs a safe home for the rest of their life. The cost of looking after these abandoned animals has risen year on year and now includes paying three part-time staff, renting extra grazing from local farmers for over 70 horses and three flocks of sheep and expensive veterinary bills. If you can donate something towards these costs this summer it would be so gratefully received! Find out more at http://woodfieldanimalsanctuary.org/

About the charity

In 2013 we moved to Gower to retire but after seeing so many abandoned and emaciated ponies we turned our home into a Sanctuary for them as a “save haven” to be cared for and rehabilitated. We have rescued over 300 animals, only accomplishing this with the generosity of our wonderful supporters.
