I am doing the half-maraton in aid of ALD life because 2007 i recieved the news that my son has the disease ALD. The charity does a lot of work researching the disease because it is so rare and not many people know about it. The fact that the disease is so rare means your donation will be extremely grateful as they need as much funding as possible to do new research and to try and inform people of this terrible disease.

  At the moment there is no cure for this disease only ways to try and slow it down but ALD life are trying to find new and more improved ways to help these sufferers live as full a life they can.
