We Support Vulnerable Children in Kenya to Break the cycle of poverty holistically

Story

Hello Everyone!

I am running the London 10k this Sunday for The Nasio Trust, a charity which supports HIV orphans in Kenya!

The Nasio Trust operates on a tiny budget, just £42,000 each year, to meet the basic needs of 218 children in terms of education, medical care, food and clothing. And you can be sure that your money will go straight to the cause as the charity is run in the UK entirely by volunteers.

A donation of just £10 will buy two school uniform dresses and a pair of plimsolls to ensure a small child is dressed for nursery school for an entire year.Just £15 will pay all costs for one child for one month.

My target is to raise £250 and I have 4 days left to achieve this target! So PLEASE sponsor me! Anything you can give will make a huge difference to these children's lives and will be very much appreciated!

If you want to know more you can email me: amandascott@live.co.uk

Remember - you don't have to donate online - if you prefer, you can sponsor me directly and I'll add the amount onto the total manually.

Thank yooooou!

Amanda

RCN 1104542
The Nasio Trust is a UK registered charity and Kenyan NGO which supports orphaned and vulnerable children and empowers communities to break the cycle of poverty. Established over 20 years ago, our community-based approach is aimed at providing a holistic solution to tackling the root causes of poverty through education, healthcare, psychosocial support, food security and income generation. Our Philosophy. We believe children should not grow up in institutions like orphanages, where they are isolated from society because of poverty, sickness, disease or death of parents. Children should live in a loving family with dignity without being stigmatised by the cause of their vulnerability.
