Story
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, The Flicka Foundation were forced to close their gates to visitors at the end of March and the impact of this has been felt heavily on the charity's finances.
My late Nan Jean Caley loved donkeys and we adopted Humphrey for her while she was living with dementia. The memories we have from when she visited Humphrey are priceless! When we lost Nan my two girls Isla & Cora took over the adoption.
When we received a donation request from Flicka we decided that rather than just sending a £10 donation we wanted to raise as much as we can for them as it will be a massive help to the Charity.
Isla & Cora would love you to donate just £1 to this fantastic charity that looks after not only Humphrey but other donkeys and horses who have all previously been abused, abandoned or neglected before they have been taken into the Sanctuary. In exchange for your £1 they will walk 5,000 steps a day (with me in tow) for 7 days come rain or shine. We will post daily updates of our walks, a snap shot of our steps counter and a few pics along the way.
Please, dig deep and help us support this fantastic charity.
Thank you!
