My brother died from SADs in October 2012. He was a fit and healthy man with no issues so it was a shock for all concerned. He simply went to bed, his heart stopped and he did not wake up. It is a condition with no real warning signals and can occur at any stage during adult life. Since his passing I found that many were not aware of this condition or what the letters stand for (Sudden Arrhytmic Death Syndrome). It leaves families with a lot of unanswered questions and without closure. Raising money aids vital research into the condition and support for families affected.
