For those of you that don't know, I'm attempting to run the London Marathon this year! I'm taking this opportunity to hopefully raise some funds for a charity close to home. FACET is a charity that supports adults with disabilities to access training and employment opportunities, focussing on ability, not disability. Each individual that attends is supported by dedicated staff to develop and grow at their own pace within a safe environment. My brother, who attends FACET on a regular basis, has been going through a tricky time recently. The staff have really listened to him and made changes which has enabled him to feel more settled and back to his usual self. He has been given so many opportunities provided by the charity and as a family, we are content that he is happy and safe whilst attending. 

Training is going well but don't get me wrong, I'm no Kipchoge! This will be a long plod for me so please, donate if you can, as every little counts and will give me that extra push I no doubt will need to get me over that finish line!
