We work with parents to end child exploitation

Story

First of all, thank you.

Thank you for taking your time to visit my JustGiving page, it means the world.

There are a million reasons as to why  I have chosen to go ahead with a Charity Sky Dive and many reasons as to why I have chosen PACE.

What provoked me to do something like this was when recently, I went on tour with a theatre company spreading awareness of CSE to young children at high schools. As an Actor and as someone who struggles herself with mental health illnesses, this was extremely challenging due to past personal events and reasons which I do not wish to go into. After each performance; Q&A sessions were held and after a week, myself and the director spoke about sharing a personal story of my own. As difficult as this may have been, children responded to this in shock, disgust and disbelief however it opened many paths for young children who themselves have suffered with sexual exploitation and abuse to come forward and accept help available.

I spoke to children around the age of 11-13 (some even younger) who had actually been through CSE. This caused a great concern for me and to have met so many who had experienced this or similar events and situations made me want to do something to help raise more awareness and support.

Therefore, I am taking part in a sky dive to raise money for PACE (Parents Against Child Exploitation) in hope for more funding to support and raise the awareness that as a child, I never received
