Story
After being struck with severe altitude sickness at Mount Everest Base Camp in 2004, one would think I was crazy to ever go back up so high....and here I am getting ready to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 5895 metres above sea level and the highest 'stand-alone' mountain in the world!
I would be extremely grateful for any donations in aid of my brave efforts, with all money raised going to SOS Children's Villages, the world's largest orphan and abandoned childrens' charity.
Every penny I raise will go towards supporting hundreds of orphans in India and Africa by helping to provide shelter, meals, clothing, warm blankets and medical supplies.
Please do give whatever you can....remembering there are less fortunate children in this world. No donation is too small to make a difference.
Thank you...and please do wish me luck!!!
