Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. For me this charity is personal as well because I adopted my dog Bella from there which we have had for 2 years now. They helped us look for the perfect dog and they found her for us. Bella has grew in confidence from day one and is still growing now. Any donations that will go to RSPCA will help them look after the animals like being able to feed the animals, buy them new toys and even with vet bills. It will also go towards helping them tackle animals that are suffering at people's home that need to be rescued as it is their first priority.

About the charity

The RSPCA Lancs East branch works to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals in the branch area, including Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Clitheroe, Nelson, Colne & Darwen. From it's Animal Centre in Altham it rehomes animals to caring new owners. We do not put healthy animals to sleep.
