Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page for The Color Run 2016. NSPCC are the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Thank you for any donations you are able to give, your support with fundraising could help support a number of children.

As for my story? I started my millionth weight loss journey this year on the 11th of January at 248lbs. I have a goal that I want to reach but I'm not setting a deadline. I'm being healthy (and happy) and just taking things slow.

Through making my own meals and snacks from scratch (big high five to sweet potato brownies) I'm finding that I'm not only full, but satisfied with what I'm eating- and the weight is coming off!

I'm now 25lbs down and feeling so motivated!

One thing I've always struggled with is exercise- especially running. If I had to exercise it would be on a cross trainer in the gym- I would hate to go outside and run but this year it's different. I have a labrador puppy that's full of life and a good little running buddy to keep me motivated.

I've just started the C25K programme to get me in tip top shape for the colour run and my goal is to run all of it- no walking and no stopping! No matter how long it takes!

I've wanted to do the colour run for the last couple of years but never committed- well now it's time to change! I'm all signed up and ready to go :)
