We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hello,

On Thursday 19th August I will be cycling from Daventry to Hemel Hemstead, (50 miles) in a 6 seated contraption (shown in the pic) for Cancer Research.

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research.
They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.

I have no idea how the 'machine' works – we sit in a circle and pedal and someone steers in the vague direction of forwards – here’s hoping that’s not me given my higher than average portion of unlucky incidents!

The bike itself is making it’s way from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise awareness for Cancer Research, with people jumping in at each stage to move it along. Whilst the ride is focusing on raising awareness, you can’t do much without money. So if you have any spare pennies please donate!

And let's face it, with my dodgy knees and dodgy heart I won't be bugging you for marathon sponsorship anytime soon :-)

Thank you,

Amy
