I am taking part in the Great Ethiopian run on Sunday 22^nd November 2009 along with 31,000 another people. Its the biggest official running race in Africa.

Apart from a very interesting trip, I’m running to raise money and awareness of a terrible but highly preventable illness affecting tropical farmers called Mossy Foot.

Mossy Foot causes massive swelling to the legs but is highly treatable and in the majority of cases simple, inexpensive treatment has dramatic results.

One of the biggest issues is that people afflicted by the illness are often ostracised by their community and families.
