Story
There are 350,000 people in the UK living with diabetes including my sister and two of my sisters in law. I know at first hand how difficult it can be to live with this illness but thanks to research funded by charities like the JDRF we're getting close to a real cure.
Diabetes can affect children from a very early age and unfortunately it's getting more and more common. This walk, that I do every year, always has some of those children on it which is why it's only a few miles instead of the marathons that other people do to raise money. I always find it very humbling seeing them whizz around the course.
I hope that you'll be able to support me and if you can fill out the Gift Aid details the Government will top up the money as well. Many Thanks.
