Story

It is that time of year again, when I put myself through the pain that is the London Marathon.Once again I am running for the Sarah Matheson Trust , but sadly it is in memory of my father , Robert Alan Ladd , who passed away on the 7th August 2008, at the age of Sixty Six, from MSA ( Multiple System Atrophy).

Multiple System Atrophy

Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. MSA is caused by degeneration of nerve cells in specific areas of the brain. This cell degeneration causes problems with movement, balance and automatic functions of the body.

As some people keep telling me , I am not getting any younger and as hard as it is to continue with the training , it is nothing compared to the hardship of living and dealing with MSA and seeing someone who I loved and looked upto and who enjoyed life to the full, be destroyed by this disease.

So please dig deep and support this worthwile charity , no matter how small the donation. It all helps to hopefully make a difference in the future.

Thank you

Andy .
