We have both decided to take to the streets of Hastings on Sunday 20th March 2011 and particpiate in the Hastings Half Marathon to generate valuable funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The reason for choosing this charity is that in 1984 Phil and his Wife Debbie were blessed with their second child Carly, however there were very serious life threatening heart complications that meant that there were some serious issues that needed to be addressed. For the past twenty six years Carley has been expertly treated at Guy's and more recently St. Thomas's Hospitals in London through some serious life threatening situations.

Thankfully as a result of the expert treatment that has been received she is now able to live her life to the best possible level which resulted in her marriage to Chris in 2010 (Proud Dad & Carly on her wedding day)

We feel that it would be very fitting to show our gratitude to the British Heart Foundation for the excellent work that they have done in allowing Carly to live her life to the full.
