We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

On October 1, 2006 a group of us are running the Great North Run in memory of Andy Quick, a dear friend who we lost to cancer last year.

A significant amount of money has already been raised for a specific melonoma research fund at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. We are also keen to raise funds for cancer carers, and have chosen Marie Curie Cancer Carer as our main charity for the Great North Run. We also aim to donate a portion of any sponsorship to Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Andrew Stott, Steve Currie, Neville Pike, Paul Williams, Stewart Bennett, and Bill Toleman
