Story

Both Andy and I would like to thank you all for sponsoring us for taking part in the Great East Swim at the weekend.

It proved to be an excellent day and is clearly becoming one of the biggest and best outdoor swim events in the country.  On a typical summer's day, over 3,000 swimmers took on strong winds, heavy rain and very choppy conditions to battle their way round the course.

Andy completed the course in 23 minutes 31 seconds and finished 200th overall.  I trailed in a few minutes further back at 28 minutes and 28 seconds finishing 614th.

Your generous donations ensured we were able to raise over £400 for the Firefighters Charity.

Many thanks.

Mark
