Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 7 August, I shall be attempting the London Triathlon, facing my own personal demons with a half mile swim in the London Docks, followed by a bike ride and a run around the capital.

I'm raising funds for Special Olympics Great Britain, the country's largest provider of year-round sports training and competition programme for people with learning disabilities.

A while back I raised funds to support the Special Olympics GB Ski Team at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Boise, Idaho. Getting involved and seeing what impact the experience had on the athletes was extremely inspirational, and the main reason for me getting involved in the Triathlon this year. You can see for yourself first-hand what the experience was like for one of the GB Ski Team, Hannah Dempsey, by clicking on the video link on my page.
