Story
Bethan was born in August 2008 to Lisa and Ian ( my brother)
She is always laughing and smiling and I know is very happy ( see pictures !!!) except when she is hungry- just like her Dad.
You would never guess that Bethan has Cystic Fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis is one of the most common inherited genetic diseases which is life threatening. It affects the internal organs especially the lungs and digestive system making it hard to breath and digest food.
Ian and Lisa also have to spend time ensuring that Bethan receives her regular medication and can spend up to 45 minutes, twice a day, administering physiotherapy to help with her breathing.
I am running in the Bupa Great Manchester run on the 16th of May for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and would appreciate your support to help raise awareness and much needed funds to fight this disease.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you
Andy
