Hi and thanks for coming to make a donation as a wedding gift to us.

We already have three cats (Mimi, Noodle and Isambard) and a dog (Ernie) and, if Angela has her way, may well end up increasing our animal family by adding micro- or Vietnamese-pot-bellied pigs, chickens, donkeys, horses, more dogs and who knows, perhaps a whole menagerie of other exotic creatures. Safe to say then that animals and their welfare are very close to our hearts.

 

Sad update today - Isambard passed away March 2nd. He was a lovely cat. Angela spent three years coaxing the little fella who had a poorly start to his life as an abandoned and ill kitten into the house, starting by building him a liitle shelter in the garden and leaving food out for him, but he was too afraid to let anyone near him for ages. Finally the breakthrough came when Angela put her hand into his little outside home and he nudged it with his head. From there he eventually came to live in the house, but still loved the outdoors, coming home for tea and to sleep but loving carousing outside come night-time; such a character. He will be sadly missed.
