Story
Less than a year ago my 39-year old brother-in-law Matt Robinson died of cancer, less than 9 months after being diagnosed. This was a horrific shock to all the families involved, not least to his wife Ellie, my youngest sister, and their three little boys.
Our perspective on life was altered overnight and Robin and I decided that after 15 years together it really was time to get married!
Our priority on our wedding day, Sunday 2nd May, is to acknowledge how lucky we are to be alive and healthy, and celebrate with our family and friends who have travelled from all over the world to be with us.
Three hours before we tie the knot in Edinburgh Castle, we are running the Edinburgh 10K - with at least 15 of our wedding guests! We will be thinking of Matt and hoping to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thanks for taking the time to read our JustGiving page for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. It provides practical, medical and financial support and pushes for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all and we can all help.
