After the drama of surgery was over, Matt and I needed support, advice and people who had experience of what we were going through, the Somerville Foundation (formerly GUCH PA) provided us with that.  We were part of the team who walked the Thames Path in summer 2009 in order to raise money and awareness for GUCH PA (Grown Up Congenital Hearts Patient's Association), through which we met many wonderful, inspirational people.  Their information resources have allowed us to seek answers to the many questions we have had over the years, and given us access a community of friends who have provided us with endless support.

We would also like to dedicate this page to the memory of Charlie Manfredi, who walked beside us along the Thames Path, offering encouragement, laughter and love, and walks beside us all now and forever.

This charity has offered us comfort and support during many difficult challenges over the years.  Please help us in providing others with the same service.
