We are back!!!   5 years ago we set out as a family to travel 2885 miles walking and rowing in 23 weeks.   Why that distance?? well  that's the distance from Anna's home in Utah to the hospital in Arkansas where she had her Chordoma Tumor surgery then onto Boston where she had her Proton beam therapy!!! 

Who was Anna!!!!   well to everyone who never met her all we can say is you missed out!!!  She was the most amazing, possitive, bubbly, go get em girl!!!  Jo had the pleasure of meeting Anna's family when they lived in England for a short time.  Anna was well enough to travel to the UK and be our flower girl at our wedding in 2006.  Anna gave Eden her first taste of icecream when we visited the Nemelka family in Utah in 2007.  But sadly Anna lost her fight in 2009 aged just 10 years.   She touched more people in those 10 years than most of us will in our whole lives.

So we decided to give it another go  only this time we are fitter and the girls are older so we have set a short time of only 6 weeks to complete the journey.
