Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sam Yarwood, aged 22, died tragically following an accident on Lake Ulswater earlier this year. Sam loved adventure and delighted in challenging himself, living life to the full.

Together with my good friend Fiona, I have taken up the challenge to complete the Two Castle Run, on Sunday 12th June,a 10k race from Warwick to Kennilworth, in memory of Sam. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the Lake District Search and Rescue Association, who did their absolute best to save Sam.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Sunday 5th - Quick update: Fiona and I are pacing our training and getting ready for the big day. We have just received an e mail to say we need to be in Warwick by 7.45am, on Sunday morning...yikes! An early start but very worth it! Many thanks to all those who have already contributed...we are delighted by the response.
