WE DID IT!! We conquered the big hill and despite unprecedented blizzard conditions in which four local porters tragically lost their lives, we made it to over 19,000 feet. Huge thanks to all our friends and colleagues who supported and encouraged us all through the preparations and training for the trip - it will be one we will never ever forget.. Life is definitely for grabbing- whatever age your brain tells you that you are! 

These funds will all go to Water Aid -not my expenses ( I wanted to make sure folks knew that).To my mind, clean water is such a fundamental need - no point in new schools and things without it.
