11/05/2010.  5 miles and 600 calories tonight, had enough then, will try to break through the 5 mile barrier next time.

01/05/2010.  Ok started serious training yesterday, walked 5 miles to my daughters house, don't sound much but its the furthest I've done so far this year.  Feeling it today!  Getting back in to it now, hope the weather picks up again soon, hate walking in the rain, luckily it stayed dry til I got there. :o)

16/03/2010.  For those of you who don't know, this is a 13 mile walk done by ladies in Warrington to raise money for our local hospice St. Rocco's.  This is my 3rd year of doing it, and I have to say it is fantastic.  Its done at midnight so that the streets are quiet, and we do 2 circuits around the Warrington area.  One of the best things is at the end of the 13 miles, the feeling of achievement is amazing, and you get given bacon rolls and hot drinks, best I ever tasted! lol  Thanks very much for visiting my page and supporting me, and for any donation that you may decide to leave :o) x

02/03/2010.  My sponsor form arrived today, and found out when t-shirts will be available to collect.  Nights are getting lighter now, won't be long before the clocks change, then I can get out training properly, can't wait!!

14/02/2010.  Bonus!! I've already lost 4lbs training!  Not been out much but been on glider and exercise bike at home.  Making progress.

04/02/2010.  All registered now, walking machine up and ready, 19 weeks til the walk.  Lots of time to sponsor me x
