Story

On 3rd may this year, a group of 12 Cyclist will set off from the Eifel tower in Paris and ride 550 miles to Blackpool tower in 4 just days.(calling at warrington to watch the salford city reds game).Following Candices tragic death the guys rode from Warrington to Wembley in two days.Last year the same group rode from Warrington to Cardiff (millenium Magic) in two days !

Over £20,000 has been raised in Candices honour to date, the lads all from warrington have always included the Warrington Wolves Foundation as part of there challenges but mainly money that has been donated goes to the Candice Roberts foundation.

Once again this year the ride will be in memory of Candice Roberts who died of Guillain–Barré syndrome on her 26th Birthday.

The ride is organised by Robert Foden, Candice's Uncle and close family friend Richard Layfield, both keen Cyclists.

Candice was a warm, funny, friendly young girl with a beautiful smile and an amazing zest for life.

Guillian-Barre Syndrome is a cruel disease that attacks the body's immune system, leaving victims paralysed, 80% will recover completley but sadly some victims are left paralysed and in Candice's case some do not survive. This illness is not respective of age or previous health. The percentage of victims is growing and money is needed for research to make people more aware of the symptoms and bring this Cruel, uncommon but potentailly fatal
