Update 2: Close friends of Carolyn remember "our lovely friend" by completing a fourth cycle ride on Saturday 8th July 2017.

Update 1: Andrew easily beat his target to complete the Marathon before Midnight. Andrew ran it in an amazing 3 hours 36 mins 38 secs, coming 8th overall and first in his age group. The Midnight Marathon was organised by The Bridge Events, Darford on Saturday 24 June 2017 and started at 7.00pm.  

Andrew said: "Running a Marathon is probably my equivalent of climbing Everest, I have the utmost respect for those who have taken on such a challenge given the training and work to achieve such a feat. The courage and sheer effort is astonishing, and reminds me so much of Carolyn and her strength, courage and determination, it’s the least I can do to emulate those fine character traits for such a worthy cause."
