I have been a part of Girlguiding for the past 9 years and I am now very lucky to have been selected to travel to Cambodia for 3 weeks in July 2018 with London & South East Region Guides. While there, I will be volunteering in a day centre for children living in poverty.

The trip will be based in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, working with “Projects Abroad", doing much needed renovation work and teaching English to the children there. I will be travelling and working with 13 other Senior Section members from all over the London and SouthEast Region.

While in Cambodia, we will also have the opportunity to visit a local Guide company and learn about local traditions and history, including what will be a very moving visit to the Killing Fields and Genocide museums.

I need to fundraise £3000  for the trip.  Please sponsor me and my mum. We will be abseiling down The Orbit at The Olympic Park, April 2018.  I am also planning events like a quiz night, cake sales and making and selling Christmas decorations as well as applying for charitable grants
