On the 26 June, I will set out to conquer 25 Lake District peaks in 24 hours; trekking over 53 km with a total ascent of nearly 15,000ft - to put it in perspective, this is the equivalent of scaling half the height of Everest (or so I am told)! 

This event is to raise money for the firm’s charity, Epilepsy Action, which is particularly close to the hearts of many at Mayer Brown due to the tragic and untimely death of one of our trainee solicitors last year.

Epilepsy Action is the largest member-led epilepsy organisation in Britain, acting as the voice for the UK's estimated 456,000 people with epilepsy, as well as their friends, families, carers, health professionals and the many other people on whose lives the condition has an impact.  Further information on Epilepsy Action can be found on the left hand side of this page and at www.epilepsy.org.uk.
