Firstly who are we raising money for?  Dreams Come True is a national charity serving the whole of the UK with the mission of bringing joy to children who are terminally or seriously ill by making their treasured dreams come true.

Heres just a few of the great dreams that they have made come true:

You might be wondering why 3 misfits like us have decided to enter the worlds biggest triathalon event, the 2010 Mazda London Triathalon, well we just wanted to get fit and raise some money for this great charity, so we decided to try something a bit demanding, unfortunately we just couldn't master hula hooping on the Wii fit, so have gone for something a little easier.

 

What exactly are we doing? Well as its our first triathalon, we as a team decided to enter the sprint team triathalon event, with each of us doing one of the 3 events:

750metre swim - 20km bike ride and 5km run.

You may think that isn't really that far!  Well so did myself & Brendon, so unknowningly to Steve, we took a team vote and voted to enter the Olympic Team Triathalon event instead, which is double the distances.  Well now we are entered and all three of us are thinking we must have been mad haha.

 

The event takes place on Saturday 7th August 2010 and we are aiming to raise a minimum of £1500 for this great charity
