Story
In April 2016 Ollie, aged 8, gained his angel wings. Ollie's sort life was one that was filled with love to the extreme. He led a life less ordinary. He also fought daily, with infections and neurological deterioration. His zest for life gave him thos extra precious years with us - his family and all the friends he made along the way.
We, as a family, are forever in debt to the hard work of the paramedics and especially the ones onboard the Midlands Air Ambulance who were with us in our home that day. They managed to stabilise Ollie and flew him to Stoke University Hospital. Those extra few hours granted us while he was in the hospital allowed all of his immediate family and closest friends to whisper their goodbyes.
All proceeds raised from the evening, raffle and silent auction will be donated to Midlands Air Ambulance and Menkes Foundation UK who work to support families of children who have the condition, and fund research to try and find a cure.
