Story

Ayshea was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia on 13th August 2012 on her 15th birthday. She underwent chemotherapy over a gruelling period of 4 months but on her last block of chemo in December 2012, she contracted an infection which resulted in her fighting for her life on Intensive Care Unit. Ayshea bravely fought this battle and made a remarkable recovery. Ayshea started 2013 in remission! As ayshea made a full recovery she returned to school for her final GCSEs and then started her Beauty Therapy course at college. However in January 2014 Ayshea suffered a relapse. She underwent more chemotherapy and had a bone marrow transplant which appeared to be successful. Unfortunately Ayshea suffered several complications resulting in her fighting for her life yet again on intensive care unit but she sadly passed away on Sunday 6th July 2014 despite a very brave battle. She has inspired many people and her positive outlook was breathtaking which compels us to keep her memory alive and continue to raise money for a charity close to her heart who supported her through this journey. xxxx
