Story

I’m again cycling over 1,000 kms in 10 days for THE ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY on Briatin's ultimate cycling challenge - The Great Tour - a 64-day, 4000 mile cycle ride around the whole coastline of Britain.  See http://www.thegreattour.co.uk/home.php

Starting and finishing in Holyhead, Anglesey, the cycle ride will begin on Saturday 4 July and finish on Saturday 5 September.  I’m cycling from Holyhead on Day 1 to the west of Scotland on Day 10.

We will fundraise for the events six charity partners - Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support, Leukaemia & Lymphona Research, Anthony Nolan, Action For A-Tand CTC the National Cycling Charity

You can follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TheGreatTourUK?fref=ts or see how the whole ride’s fundraising is going at https://www.justgiving.com/teams/Countrywide-Great-Tour.

One of our Official Partners is Skoda UK & my local dealer https://www.mitchellgroup.co.uk/car/new has kindly donated an  Official Skoda Cycle shirt which will be given to someone who donates on my page.  The draw for this cycle top will take place when The Tour has finished on 5 September.  If you want to know more about The Great Tour, then call me on 07522 919 974.  Thank you to everyone who chooses to support The Countrywide Great Tour whether it be through raising awareness, taking part in the event or making a donation.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
