On Sunday 12 September 2021 we (Bailey , Ellis and Helen) will be running the Great North Run in memory of our wonderful Grandad and Step-dad Eric Gibson who we sadly lost after a strong fight against a glioblastoma brain tumour in late October 2019.

Throughout his illness St Teresa's hospice were a wonderful support to Eric and his family, offering him days out (serving up wonderful puddings!) and helping us to keep Eric at home for his last few days which is where he was so desperate to be. They also supported our whole family in the months after his death.

St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington provide palliative and end of life care and support to residents of South Durham & North Yorkshire, and their carers.
