We fund research and raise awareness to transform treatments and survival rates

Story

On 4 September 2010, a team of us from Baker Tilly's London Restructuring office stood at the base of Ben Nevis - the first of three mountains we were attempting to hike up and down in succession within 24 hours - thinking "it seemed like a good idea 8 weeks ago....".

24 hours, 27 miles, and 10,000 feet later we were victorious, the majority of the team having completed the challenge within the deadline,  four of the team finishing just outside 24 hours and one poor soul taking an injury related early bath.

We're undertook this challenge in order to raise money for three very worthwhile charities, each of them directly connected to the team.

This page has been set up to collect money for Ovarian Cancer Action, a charity dedicated to improving survival for women with ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer in the UK claiming the life of a woman every 2 hours. Many women still do not know the symptoms leading to late diagnosis. We are determined to drive up survival rates by funding world-class research into causes, treatments and prevention.
